I needed a lightweight compact vac with a brush roll–no vacuum I’ve ever owned has picked up on carpet without a brush. Converts to a hand vac easily, gets that tiny spiderweb on the ceiling with no problem.

Now if that doesn’t make you stop and think long and hard the next time you are about to criticize someone or spew a word of fear or doubt, I don’t know what will! Our words are eternal in the most basic sense.

We are encouraged and commanded in many places in the Bible to carefully watch what we say. Ephesians 4:29 NIV says: Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. I love the way The Message translates this verse: “Watch the way you talk. Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth. Say only what helps, each word a gift.” That says it all.

Dirt Devil Swift Stick Review

I bought this a week ago and am very pleased. It picked up dust and debris from the baseboard area of the carpet and easily picked up dirt the kids tracked in. Cleaning the stairs was very easy given how light the vacuum is. It moves from carpeted areas to hardwoods with no difficulty.

On the downside, some of the components, such as the cord holder, seem flimsy. Also, the handle tends to twist slightly. These could be bigger problems later.

Miele S4780 Orion Galaxy Canister Vacuum ( Black ) Review

I bought my Miele in 2007 and I have had no problems with it — and it’s now 2010. It works beautifully, is quiet, well designed, and easy to operate. Changing bags and filters is easy. Everything seems to easily click and lock into place. I can’t think of anything negative.

Today, I called customer support because I thought I had a problem. Turns out I was just technically challenged and learned how to fix my problem after a quick, troubleshooting session with a highly personable, helpful, and competent agent. What a joy; this is how customer support SHOULD work. I would buy another Miele when this one dies – which doesn’t seem likely anytime soon.

The filter arrived in a timely manner and fits in my Eureka Boss perfectly. For this filter the price is quite reasonable as is the shipping cost. Ordering from Amazon is very convenient also. I would buy this filter again and wouldn’t hesitate to use the same vendor.

Shark XSD204 4 Bags, 1 Belt, 2 Exhaust Filters for Shark UV204 Review

According to my googling, there are only two places you can buy bags and filters if you lost the original. One is from Shark’s website. It costs about including shipping and you really can’t tell what you’re going to get from them, no pictures, no quantities. The other is here at Amazon, which costs about including shipping. I got the mail today and the package has exactly what is shown in the picture. And everything works just as I expect. Hope the supply continues till I throw out the vacuum itself. I basically saved more than 0 that I may have to spend on a new vacuum.
